At Renaissance Productions, our mission is to deliver a safe, clean, and enchanting experience for the whole family. To ensure every guest has a magical time, we ask everyone to follow the guidelines below. Thank you for helping us keep the magic alive!

Weather Policy

The event takes place rain or shine — dress for adventure! Please plan for outdoor conditions and layer up if needed.

 

Renaissance Productions reserves the right to temporarily suspend operations during electrical storms, heavy rain, high winds, or otherwise dangerous weather conditions. There are no refunds for weather-related closures.

 

Conduct

We ask that all guests conduct themselves in a family-friendly manner. Disruptive or offensive behavior is strictly prohibited. Guests who appear intoxicated, under the influence of illegal substances, or who exhibit belligerent behavior will be escorted out without refund and/or turned over to the proper authorities.

 

Dress Guidelines

Costumes, period attire, and creative garb are absolutely encouraged — yes, we love cosplay! Please keep all attire family-friendly. Shirts and shoes are required at all times. Clothing with rude, vulgar, or offensive language or imagery is not permitted.

 

All period-appropriate weapons must be peace-tied before entering the Faire; staff at the front gate are happy to assist.

 

Guests may be subject to a search if wearing multiple layers. We reserve the right to refuse entry to or remove anyone whose attire may detract from the experience of others. Guests asked to adjust their outfit must do so before entering, or may be escorted off the grounds.

 

Language

Renaissance Productions maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for offensive language. Any visitor using profanity, abusive language, or making inappropriate gestures will be removed from the premises without a refund.

 

Tobacco & Smoking

Tobacco, e-cigarettes, and any products that produce vapor or smoke are permitted only in designated smoking areas.

 

Supervision of Minors

Please keep a close eye on your little adventurers! Guests under 14 must be accompanied by someone 18 or older at all times. If you become separated from someone in your care, seek assistance from the nearest staff member. We also recommend choosing a central meeting spot ahead of time — just in case.

 

Commercial Photography

Commercial photography of any kind is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Renaissance Productions management.

 

Alcohol

Alcoholic beverages must be consumed on-site. No outside alcohol is permitted. Valid ID is required to purchase adult beverages, and no one under 21 will be served. Please drink responsibly.

 

Animals & Pets

Service animals are always welcome! All other pets and animals are not permitted on the grounds. Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness and under the owner's control at all times. Please do not leave animals unattended around the park perimeter or on nearby sidewalks — if this occurs, the appropriate authorities will be contacted.

 

Restricted Items

To keep everyone safe, the following items are not permitted on the Faire grounds:

• Firearms, knives, razor blades, or any other items that could cause harm

• All period-appropriate weapons must be peace-tied (staff at the front gate can help)

• Drones and remote-controlled toys

• Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, or wheeled shoes

• Glass containers (small containers such as baby food jars are the exception)

• Any item deemed potentially harmful or disruptive by staff

 

Bag Checks

All people, bags, and items may be subject to security checks at the entrance and within the park. We reserve the right to refuse entry of any item and will handle unattended objects as needed. Please leave unnecessary items in your vehicle and secure valuables in your trunk.

 

Outside Food & Drink

We're proud to offer a wide variety of delicious food throughout the Faire, but we understand guests may need to bring certain items. Here's what's permitted:

 

Allowed:

• Food required for medical purposes or medically indicated nutritional supplements

• Food required for special dietary needs

• Baby food and formula

• Personal water bottles

 

Not Allowed:

• Picnic lunches

• Food requiring heating or refrigeration

• Alcohol and glass containers (baby food jars excepted)

• Coolers

 

Backstage & Restricted Areas

Restricted areas are strictly off-limits to visitors. Guests attempting to enter restricted areas will be escorted from the Faire.

First Aid

Medical personnel are on duty throughout all operating hours. Ask any staff member for assistance or directions to the First Aid station.

 

Lost & Found

Renaissance Productions is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items, but we'll do everything we can to help you recover your property. Visit Lost & Found at the will call window near the front gate.

 

Prohibited Activities

The following are not permitted at the Faire:

• Selling or displaying goods or services of any kind

• Distributing printed or recorded materials

• Impersonating or portraying costumed characters while interacting with guests or disrupting operations

• Holding unauthorized events, demonstrations, or speeches

• Using flags, banners, or signs for commercial purposes or to incite a crowd

• Feeding animals in the park, including birds

• Taking photographs, videos, or recordings for commercial use

• Any unsafe activities that could disrupt park operations or facilities

 

Legal Compliance

In addition to our Code of Conduct, all guests are required to comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws and all on-site instructions.

 

Our Rights

We may photograph, film, record, or otherwise capture the image and/or voice of anyone entering the park, and may use these for any purpose without compensation.

 

We reserve the right to refuse entry to or remove anyone from the park without refund or compensation if we deem it necessary.

 

Assumption of Risk

Attendance is at your own risk. The festival and its affiliates are not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal property. Park rules and regulations are subject to change without prior notice.
